  • Terms and Conditions For Product Purchases and Returns
  • Minimum 3 boxes return. No returns after 30 days from date of purchase. No returns for opened boxes. No returns/cancellations for custom and special orders. No returns/cancellations for ordered carpet. Products arriving from  US ( all Shaw and  COREtec products) – Minimum 300 sqft return + Cost of shipping to US applies. Customers must pay 25% restocking fee for returned Hardwood / Laminate/ Engineered/ Vinyl and Tile. No exceptions. 

    All accessories ( including but not limited to T-molding, Reducers, Stair Nosing, Baseboard, Shoe Molding, Quarter Rounds, Stair Boards, Stair Treads, Custom Made Vent Covers)  are Final Sale. No return, no exchanges. Please buy accordingly.

    Extra product must be returned to the place of pick‐up/supplier and not to Anderson Floors showroom.

    Warranty of all material is honoured by the flooring brand and/or manufacturer and not by Anderson Floors. Anderson Floors will help facilitate the warranty claim but will not assume responsibility for outcome.

    Manufacturer’s product warranty does not cover damage caused by acts of God, abuse, misuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, water damage/leaks, humidity and moisture issues, expansion and contraction and subfloor issues.

    Customer is responsible to maintain relative humidity of space at 35%‐50% to minimize expansion and contraction of product. Warranty will void if above or below this humidity level. 

    48 hour acclimatization of product is recommended prior to installation of any hardwood, laminate or engineered product. It is customers’ responsibility to acclimatize product at proper humidity levels mentioned above. Whether Anderson Floors will be installing or not, acclimatization is left to the customer’s discretion and arrangement.

    Balance of product must be paid in full prior to pick‐up and/or delivery and/or installation date.

  • Terms and Conditions for Installation Services
  • Cost of product must be paid in full prior to installation date. 

    Deposit of 50% of installation price is required prior to installation date. Minimum four (4) business days is required to change / or cancel installation jobs scheduled to avoid lost day charge. Lost  day charge of $249 applies if customer decides to cancel or change installation within less than four (4) business days prior to installation.

    Anderson Floors will honor a 1 year installation warranty only for installs that it has invoiced for and completed, effective the date of completion.

    Installation warranty applies to imperfections, defects and/or faults in installation from installer and does not include problems caused by acts of God, abuse, misuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, water damage/leaks, humidity and moisture issues, expansion and contraction, subfloor problems and floor squeaks. Our installers will try their best however; the removal of squeaks is never a guarantee.

    The painting and caulking of baseboards, casings, trims and others are to be arranged by the homeowner after installation and is not the responsibility of the flooring installer.

    Scraps, packaging and debris will be placed in an area on site as designated by the customer, if disposal option is not selected.

    Customer must clear proposed work area of obstruction prior to the installer arriving on site.

    Installer will only move dishwashers, toilets, vanities after a plumber has disconnected all plumbing.

    Assume plus/minus an extra day to any given installation schedule.

    Unknowns and surprises are common in construction. Upon any surprise, Anderson Floors will notify customer of changes in cost. It is the customer’s decision to agree or not, in which case the contract may be terminated if Anderson Floors cannot continue. Lost  day charge of $249 applies if customer decides not to agree therefore resulting in contract termination - NO exception. 

    If Anderson Floors’ Installers are to move furniture as part of the contract, they will not remove clothing, china, hardware, antiques, pianos, pool tables, electronics or any small items. They also will not assemble or dissemble any pieces. Installers will only remove pieces of furniture that have been emptied of their contents.

    Customer must be available at end of the installation process for the inspection of premises and in order to close off his/her remaining balance.

    Installation balance required immediately after completion of installation. There is no exception to this.

    Balance must be given to installer or project manager upon completion. Failure to do so may result in the removal of the installed floors and/or communication with the authorities.

    Anderson Floors, installers or any labourers may have a claim against the customer for failure to pay for materials supplied or services performed and may enforce this claim by filing a lien against customers’ property.

  • Terms and Conditions For Shipping and Delivery Services
  • Anderson Floors DOES NOT deliver product, rather we sub‐contract delivery to a third‐party company and acts as the middle‐man between the customer and the delivery company. Anderson Floors does this as a convenience to the customer and therefore isn’t responsible for delays or complaints pertaining to delivery of any product. Please note that No Appointments OR Time of Delivery provided for delivery services as arrival depends on many factors that are out of control of the delivery company such as traffic jams, numbers of companies picking up material prior to us, numbers of staff at manufacturers’ warehouse, etc. 

    Third‐party Delivery Company offers two different services: Curb-side Delivery (Without-Off-Loading) and Delivery-With-Offloading. 

    • Curb-Side Delivery (Without Off‐Loading) means the product will be dropped off at curb-side, driveway or garage (if no obstruction to wheel passage). Neither Anderson Floors nor the delivery company will be responsible for damages that occur after curb-side delivery. Curb-side delivery is the default delivery service for all delivery services mentioned in our website. 
    • Delivery With Offloading means product will be brought in to only the main floor of the house (No basement, no second-floor, no side-entrance or any other entrance other than front door). Additional charges apply for Delivery With Offloading. Please contact us for a custom quote. 

    Delivery to Residential Addresses Less Than 160 Km Away: We gladly offer free shipping or flat-rate-shipping to residential  addresses within 160 km of Anderson Floors’ showroom location. Anderson Floors offers Curb-Side-Delivery or  Delivery With Offloading (additional charges apply) for addresses that are less than 160 km away. 

    Residential Addresses More Than 160 km Away or Outside Of Ontario:  We gladly offer delivery services to customers that are more than 160 km away from Anderson Floors’ showroom location or located outside of Ontario. In cases above, flooring materials will be delivered to one of the following cities and held for customer pick up at our warehouse. Customers must pick up within 3 days of material arrival. Otherwise, additional storage charges may apply and customer must pay the additional storage charges prior to material release. Current additional storage cost is $48/ skid/ day (Subject to change without notice). 

    Currently, Anderson Floors has warehouses in following cities -(If your city is not on the list and you are not able to pick up at any of the following cities kindly contact us at info@andersonfloors.ca and we will provide you with a custom shipping cost at a nearby terminal to you (subject  to availability).
